Made in Tennessee Manufacturer Spotlight: Jiffy Steamer
11/02/2023 |
Since our founding in 1940, the Jiffy Steamer Company has grown from the world’s first hat steamer to the largest global steam technology manufacturer, represented by 1,000 international dealers and countless customers in more than 55 countries. Millions of Jiffy Steamers are used every day in homes and businesses across the globe for a wide variety of applications and specialty industries.
Our founder, John B. Simrell, pioneered the hat and garment steaming industry by creating Jiffy Steamer Company 83 years ago. Jiffy Steamer is still family-owned and operated and every single product is handcrafted with the highest quality, American-made parts and components in Union City (Obion County), Tennessee.
We are proud to have been recently featured as a “Made in Tennessee Manufacturer,” joining an impressive list of other innovative companies that call the Volunteer State home. Our devoted team spends countless hours testing each steamer to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. With fifty-two unique steps to construct just one steamer, we rely on a talented group of people who truly care, as evidenced by our employee tenure which is over 22 years.
As a commitment to the Obion County community, we are actively engaged in the development of young people in our local schools. We also donate 10% of all retail sales of pink steamers to the Obion County Cancer Agency, providing dozens of women much needed assistance in our area.
Jiffy Steamer is proud to be MADE IN TENNESSEE.
